Frances Turley is a Dublin native who completed her 2nd and 3rd level education in Galway. She has lived and worked in several countries, including Greece and Switzerland where she is now permanently based.
Frances has worked in several fields, ranging from teaching to finance and management. Before retiring, she had a long and highly successful career as Manager of Rotary Foundation Services in Zurich. As well as extensive travel, this position involved supporting a wide spectrum of humanitarian projects throughout Europe and Africa and overseeing fundraising for The Rotary Foundation, with a particular focus on supporting Rotary’s global polio eradication efforts in close collaboration with WHO other NGOs and the Gates Foundation.
One of Frances’ key passions is communication. She has been a member of Toastmasters for almost twenty years and is dedicated to passing on her profound knowledge of that skill to others, enabling them to overcome communication barriers, communicate better and hone their leadership skills.
An avid sports enthusiast who excelled in hockey, squash and tennis, Frances still enjoys hiking, swimming, skiing and pilates.
Frances joined IBN in 2020 and is delighted to have the opportunity to bring her experience to the Irish Business Network and to take on a new challenge.
