Thanks for coming to Basel December 11 2013

A big “thank you” to all who made it to Der Teufelhof in Basel for the final IBN event of 2013.   It was a great night and we heard some really compelling presenters.  (In case you missed the evening all presentations are attached below)

Alan Gallagher, from ConnectIreland (connectireland.com) was sadly not able to attend but I am sure we can get him to come to Switzerland early next year!    Starting with Jane Green from Enterprise Ireland we had an update of the successes for 2013 and a preview of 2014.   Did you know that Switzerland is the 6 th biggest market for Irish exports.

Dr. Gemma Robinson, Managing Director of Acorn Regulatory (www.acornregulatory.com). was our first guest speaker, a shining example of an Irish company based in a small town in the south of Ireland successfully providing a global service.  Continuing the theme of successful business women in Ireland Louella Morton, General Manager & VP International Sales for QStream Inc. (qstream.com), showed us their innovative e-learning software.  Bronagh Cushnahan of Biokinetic (www.biokineticeurope.com), followed.  Bioknetic is a highly successful phase I-III clinical pharmacology company based in Belfast.  We rounded off the evening with Justin Dolan from the Irish Embassy in Switzerland giving us an update on the success of  “The Gathering” initiative and the upturn in the future economics for Ireland.
