Next Zürich Event Thursday 24th November 2016

The Irish Business network Switzerland and Mr Stefan Studer, The Honorary Consul of Ireland in Switzerland and Treuco AG, are delighted to invite IBN members to the next Zurich Chapter Event:

This event will feature a short series of presentations on some typical legal

and tax issues expat citizens may face in Switzerland (based on a typical

case of a couple/family moving to Switzerland to form a company).

The topics to be addressed will include:

• Overview on the local tax system
• Employment and tenancy law (in particular notice periods and rights and duties during notice periods as well as unemployment benefits etc.)
• Inheritance law and matrimonial property regimes (including split of assets in case of divorce and governing law)
• Succession planning opportunities (e.g. prenuptial and shareholder agreements, gift and inheritance tax etc.), taking into account the international dimension in the case at hand
