Spotlight on Education in Switzerland (Zurich, June 20)

The Irish Business Network, with sponsorship from the Irish government, invites you to an event in Zurich.

The event will take place on Thursday, 20th June 2019 from 18:00 until 22:00 at the Carlton on Bahnhofstrasse 41, 8001 Zürich.

This event is for you if:

  • as a recent arrival, you wish to have more information on how the Swiss education system works;
  • you are wondering whether to send your children to public or private schools;
  • your children are deciding whether to sit the Swiss Maturity diploma, A-levels, the International Baccalaureate or some other exam;
  • you wish to undertake further studies yourself and wonder which type of university or business school might be the best fit; and
  • you are interested in finding out about third level possibilities in other countries.

 Learn about the Swiss public and private education systems with the following expert speakers:

  • Robin Hull, Principal at Hull’s School, Zurich
  • John Blake, Head of College Counselling at Institut auf dem Rosenberg, St. Gallen
  • Mary Mayenfisch-Tobin, University Guidance Counsellor, College Champittet, Pully
  • Mark Lally, LittleVista, a start-up in the area of childcare

Following the presentations, we will have time to network, share a drink and have some small bites to eat.

We look forward to seeing you at the Carlton!
