Sustainable practices – what does it mean in the world of Hospitality? What are governments doing to ensure their agricultural practices are sustainable? How are business schools integrating sustainability into their programmes?

We are delighted to announce our exceptional line-up of speakers at the next in-person event of our Lausanne Chapter on Monday, 25th March at 18.30 CEST.

If you wish to hear from a panel concerned about the future of agriculture, of water, and the environment, in addition to connecting with other Irish professionals living and/or working here, then this event is for you!

This event will take place in the EHL Business Hospitality School, located at Chalet à Gobet, Le Mont sur Lausanne. At this event, moderated by Dr Aileen Somers-Ionescu, PhD, a world expert on food sustainability, participants will hear from the representatives of Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, about their initiative for Ireland, Origin Green. You will then hear about the EHL work in the education of young future business professionals and their vision for sustainability in the world of hospitality.

These presentations will be followed by a Roundtable discussion on the future of Food with Nadja Batista, the Earthworm Foundation, Nicolas Lorne, founder, Innovate4water, Anne-Laure Rey, EHL Head of Sustainability, ably moderated by Dr Somers-Ionescu-
