We are delighted to announce an in-person workshop in Basel on 23rd June, “Raising an emotionally healthy child in turbulent times”.
During the last few years, parents have had to rise to the challenge of juggling professional and family life at a totally new level: working from home, weeks of confinement, school closures. Expat parents have had the added challenge of doing all this without the support of key family members to step in and enable them to take a breather or even just keep the kids occupied during those all-important Zoom meetings.
Living healthy relationships and raising an emotionally healthy child is a challenge under normal circumstances; in turbulent times even more so.
Vendula Pavlikova, a certified Emotional Intelligence specialist, will join us on June 23rd in Basel to share her knowledge on understanding how our emotions impact our everyday lives. She explains how, with practical tools for emotional intelligence, parents can equip themselves and their children better to become more resilient and lead healthier family lives.
Overview of the workshop content:
– Parenting and emotional intelligence – why does it matter?
– The basics of emotions
– Cultivating emotional intelligence at home
– Practical tools for developing a child’s emotional intelligence
Duration: 45-minute workshop and 15-minute Q&A.
After the workshop we will recharge in a beautiful garden in Basel (weather permitting) and enjoy a refreshing apéro. The apéro is open to all IBN members who welcome the opportunity to re-connect after a long period of virtual events.
