The Irish Business Network Switzerland Basel chapter hosted a “Tidy for a Cause” jumble sale as part of the Basel Irish Club’s (BIC) summer BBQ on August 29th 2020 at the Basel Rugby Club.

Participants were delighted to take the opportunity to declutter and raise funds for charity. We had tables full of nick-nacks and items to children’s delight and sold children’s books, toys, small household items and trinkets. In total, we raised CHF150 for the Patrick McVerry Trust which provides housing services for Ireland’s homeless, and the Basel GAA Club.

This event was organized in-line with the theme of our upcoming IBN event “Tidy to Thrive” which will be hosted on-line by Nadja Cereghetti on the Konmari method. Look out for your invitation which will be sent out to our members shortly.
